This workbook is designed for use with "Environmental Education Materials: Guidelines for Excellence." The workbook is divided into six sections that correspond to the six key characteristics found in the Materials Guidelines: (1) fairness and accuracy; (2) depth; (3) emphasis on skills building; (4) action orientation; (5) instructional soundness; and (6) usability. Activities and examples, glossary terms, and selected references are provided after each key characteristics page in order to achieve the section's objectives. (Author/YDS)
