Environmental education is a process, which raises awareness and understanding of inter-relationships between the natural environment, economy, society, and political spheres, and gives everybody the opportunity to develop their knowledge, attitudes, and decision-making skills. This book is based on principles and documents on environmental education that were produced as a result of meetings organized by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN) on ′Environmental Education in the School Curriculum.′
