Exploring urban nature through the lens of Jewish environmental education : a curriculum on studying birds and water through Judaism, science, and nature.
Abstract: This study presents a curriculum focused on the connections between Judaism and environmental science in an urban setting. The two curriculum units are a bird study in Central Park and a water study, both of which have outdoor and indoor activities. Also includes annotated bibliography and extensions for the units.
