Kurzinfo:	Buchklappentext: This publication presents the Danish Ministry of Education′s strategy for how the education sector can contribute to implementing the United Nations′ Decade of Education for Sustainable Development. The strategy has been drawn up in co-operation between the Danish Ministry of Education and the Danish National Commission for United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, UNESCO. The strategy shall ensure that children, young people and adults become aware of the concept of sustainable development and through knowledge and skills learn how to act competently. UNESCO has been designated by the UN to secure the implementation of the Decade of Sustainable Development, while the responsibility for drawing up a national strategy and ensuring its follow-up rests with the national authorities.
