Verlagsinfo: This external analysis explores the potentials of environment-oriented project teaching for school development, in particular for further teacher training, and provides an independent Austrian contribution towards the international review of this project. Written documents of the ENSI team members and of its advisors were analysed, and members of the project were interviewed in order to find out their current points of view about the project. Furthermore, some selected fields of action were studied in greater depth.
