Zusammenfassung: Die Autoren untersuchen , Trans-kulturalität' als begriffliches, empirisches und normatives Paradigma und weisen aus migrationswissenschaftlicher Perspektive auf Grenzen und Einseitigkeiten des Paradigmas hin. Vor dem Hintergrund dieser Kritik wird als Bildungsperspektive der Frage nachgegangen, wem die Transzendierung kultureller Grenzen zugestanden wird und welche Formen der Überschreitung kultureller Grenzen als legitime und respektable Formen gelten.
