Summary A responsible view of the world includes pedagogically the learning step „thinking locally - acting locally - checking globally". The author shows that ecumenical learning both etymologically and conceptionally justified out of the ecumenical movement implies important aims, dimensions and methodical ways, which are fundamental for the learning in the "one and only world". Conciliarity, participation and maturity are aims of this learning approach. Through the experience of the worldwide interconfessional cooperation (e.g. conciliatory process of justice, peace, integrity of creation). The author develops an ecumenical didactic, which is both relevant for the local parish and for schools.
